MAP Support Club

To be part of the MSC community, you must be at least 13 years old and agree to follow these rules:

1. You must be against sexual activity with children and your words and actions must reflect this.
2. Treat others with respect. This applies to both individual members and groups of people. Harassing, attacking, or advocating against the human rights of any individual or group is not permitted.
3. Do not admit to serious illegal conduct that has not been legally adjudicated (charged/convicted/exonerated)
4. The following are prohibited everywhere in MSC:
   • Encouraging others to harm themselves
   • Sharing personal information about another member that was privately disclosed to you
   • Statements or suggestions that adult-child sex can ever be justified or acceptable
5. To prevent conflict, the following are prohibited in public channels:
   • Discussions that are likely to result in conversations that violate rule 1
   • Promoting conversion therapy and other "treatments" that are proven to be harmful or ineffective
   • Debate about the acceptability of dating children and whether it causes harm
   • Debate about the harm caused by child sexual abuse material (child pornography) or whether such content should be legalized
   • Discussion about whether suicide is an ethical or rational choice and indications of where assisted suicide is legal (members are encouraged to discourage self-harm)
   • Content that would generally be seen as gore, unless it has a content warning and is posted in a support-centered channel
   • Sharing specific numbers that could be triggering to those with eating disorders (weight, calorie consumption, etc.)
6. When discussing sensitive or potentially upsetting topics, use #serious or the channel dedicated to the topic, if one exists.
7. No sexually explicit or arousing language or content (including links to such content and descriptions of how to find it). This includes:
   • Nudity, pornography, erotica, or erotic fictional content
   • Content that appeals to an attraction known to be shared by members in the discussion
   • Implying sexually explicit language with “[redacted]” or similar.
8. Do not post images or videos of children or links to such content for the sake of sharing kids. Images related to ongoing discussions are occasionally permitted. Images or videos that could be arousing to the average minor-attracted person (shirtless, swimsuit, underwear, etc.) are never allowed.
9. Profile content (display names, usernames, profile pictures, status messages, etc.) may not be sexually suggestive or involve real children. Profile pictures of drawn children are permitted so long as they are not realistic.
10. Do not shame others for having particular attractions or desires. You may express your own feelings of distress or shame, provided you do so in a manner that makes it clear you are not encouraging similar feelings in others.
11. Do not share screenshots or quotes of MSC with people who didn't have access to the original post without the permission of everyone involved.
12. Members are permitted to arrange real-world meetups, so long as everyone attending is an adult who has completed the onboarding process. However, we recommend extreme caution due to the privacy and safety risks involved.
13. Sharing contact information with the intent to initiate off-platform conversations between adults and minors is not permitted. Staff may remove contact information that is likely to result in such conversations.
